Here’s The Story

Victory Orlando started in September of 2014 under the leadership of Pastors Caleb and Sarah Wehrli. In 2018, Pastors Caleb and Sarah launched out from Victory to focus on new missions' initiatives globally, and they installed new lead pastors but remained on the board of Victory in an oversight role. As many of you know, we had a pastoral transition take place in October 2023 from our previous lead pastors, and at that time the board of Victory Orlando stepped in to provide leadership, support, and direction for the future.

We are excited to announce that after a season of prayer and evaluation as a church, we decided to reach out to our friends at Alive Church Orlando and discussed the possibility of merging our churches together to launch Alive Church in East Orlando. So, starting in January of 2024 Victory will become Alive Church!

What is Alive Church?

In 2007, Pastors Ken and Tabatha Claytor felt the call of God to move to Gainesville from Washington DC to plant a church. Not knowing anyone in the city, they packed up their family, left friends and loved ones for what has turned out to be the journey of a lifetime! Starting with 5 people in their living room they grew and expanded rapidly.

A few years later God began to birth a new vision in Pastor Ken's heart, one that would pioneer a move of God to bring life into dead places. This vision would bring people together regardless of race, ethnicity, or economic status. It would cross racial lines, challenge boundaries in Christ, and commission the church to go after those who are far from God.

In 2019, Alive Church Orlando was launched near the Florida Mall and now every Sunday, through passionate worship, powerful messages, and loving community thousands of people are reached across Central Florida.

Pastors Ken and Tabatha have three amazing children and have been in full time ministry for over 20 years. They have a heart for the members of Victory and are excited about this new season of Alive Church in East Orlando.

Here’s What to Expect

On November 19th, Victory will have its regular service at Timber Creek HS at 1030am, but starting on November 26th the weekly services will move to the Victory Orlando Team Center at 1801 Sandy Creek Lane, Unit 103 at 1030am.
